Abstract

Nihilism, fanaticism and terror: this project aims to develop an interpretative hypothesis which starts from the perspective opened by Friedrich Nietzsche's reflections about nihilism, resentment, and great politics and seeks to understand both the emergence of different forms of religious fundamentalism throughout the twentieth century and also the recent configurations of western politics as different forms of reaction against the deepening of the crisis of values endured by the West.
