The detection of residues of drugs such as anti-inflammatory drugs, steroid hormones, mainly antidepressants and antibiotics in the environment has concerned researchers since, even when present in concentrations orders of mg to ng L-1. This project will emphasize voltammetric analysis of the antibiotics doxycycline, trimethoprim, oxytetracycline and trimethoprim antibiotics using cyclic voltammetry method to determine their mechanisms electrodic. We will develop voltammetric sensors based on N,N'-ethylenebis(salicylideneaminato)oxovanadium(IV)[VO(Salen)], modified carbon-paste electrode, associated with differential pulse voltammetric methods and square wave for quantitative analysis respective drugs in samples of environmental interest. Will be conducted comparison of results with technique liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
