Abstract

The diagnostic investigation of dementia in the elderly based on a series of exams, which neuropsychological evaluations its one of them. In recent years, psychological tests have helped diagnostic investigation process and to find brain function changes in relation between performance and structure. The present study aims to evaluate the predictive test Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and contribute to the differential diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment and normal controls. Expected to find significant differences among the three diagnostic groups.
