Abstract

The implementation of non-potable water systems in residential buildings is growing in order to reduce the demand for drinking water. Several published works dealing with questions about the possibility of contamination of drinking water by non-potable water systems and the types of non-potable water treatment. One of the questions concerning the implementation of non-potable water system in residential buildings is its viability as a decentralized system, since various decentralized systems can generate a greater impact than a centralized system, with ability to keep a set of buildings. In the case of decentralized system the environmental, social and economic impact may be higher depending on the energy consumption of space occupied in all buildings, the need for specific management for quality assurance of water under the conditions laid down, among other things. Thus, the goal of this research project is designing a conceptual model. (AU)
