Abstract

This research aims to analyze and understand the teaching of reading and the act gives their learning by elementary school students and their relation to the activities proposed by a school teacher. For this, through an ethnographic research, data will be collected in two stages. The first is the literature to guide the researcher's observations and provide evidence for the theoretical analysis of the data. The second stage of research is characterized by collecting data through observation, interview and document analysis in order to find more restrictive and subjective information about the activities practiced in the act of reading instruction, assessments of reading and understanding these activities in context of the institution and practices of the teacher. From all the data collection, organization, discussion and analysis, is expected to reach the goal of research. (AU)
