Abstract

The purpose of this project is the investigation of a specific model having the non-abelian discrete symmetry S_3. This symmetry has had important applications on the problem of explaining the pattern of mixing and the neutrino masses. Our proposal is to evaluate the consequences of  expanding the S_3 symmetryfor the lepton sector, in order to find out if there is a  testable  prediction at the lepton flavor violation experiments. Our analysis will focus on the search for an interaction process involving the new neutral and charged scalar boson model which can give us a clue about the realization or not of the S_3 symmetry.
