Abstract This research project look for understanding possible aspects that mark the emergence of Foreigner and Adventurer, social simmelianos types, in "Raízes do Brasil" - the first Sérgio Buarque de Holanda's book. The project goal is to allow the approximation between the concepts and forms of social interactions present in his book as well as the theory of Georg Simmel. Therefore, is coming through the relation of Sérgio with the modernist movement, that I'll try to show how their developments lead us to an approximation with Simmel. The purpose here is to articulate in detail the approximations about the theory, concepts, and style of both authors.(AU) | |
