Abstract

This project aims to produce diamond electrodes doped with boron or nitrogen, under different growth conditions and doping, using titanium and silicon substrates. These electrodes are used as anodes for eletrodegradação pesticides Carbofuran and Metsulfuron-methyl, used as herbicide and pesticide in the rice growing region of Vale do Paraíba. There will be a systematic study of the experimental parameters during the growth process of the films on the titanium/silicon, in order to obtain electrodes with very good quality for organic eletrodegradação. To obtain the electrodes will be used the process of chemical deposition from the vapor phase assisted hot filament ("Hot Filament Chemical Vapor Deposition" - HFCVD)). This project involves the combination of characterization techniques of surfaces with electrochemical techniques of great scientific interest, towards the implementation of these new electrode processes with an environmental focus.
