Abstract

This research project is divided into two parts. At first the one the main objective is to study the persistence of homoclinic solutions in a neighborhood of a degenerate equilibrium point of a vector field that is e-close to a symmetric vector field. In the second part we will study the existence of limit cycles that can bifurcate from a non smooth perturbation of a linear center.
