Abstract

AbstractBackground: In the setting of primary care, despite the attempts of networking service, literature has shown evidence of miscommunication between: a) members of the multidisciplinary team, b) teams and specialized care, and c) health care and user. Objectives: The objectives of this project are: to describe the health professionals' viewpoint regarding the Family Health Units of São Carlos on multidisciplinary teamwork and interaction with expert assistance; to analyze the user's point of view on the same decision-making process. Methodology: Cross sectional, descriptive, conducted through a online questionnaire. Initially, there will be a pilot questionnaire seeking improvement, validation, and support for sample calculation. Expected Results: This study seeks to be a investigative platform to future studies that aim to map potential barriers and challenges to the full development of multiprofessional work, and to the reference and counter reference. The results of this project can provide a substrate for the development of communicative strategies.
