Abstract The research project has as its topic the investigation of the problem about the time in the work of Samuel Beckett, more specifically in the triology of novels written after the war, namely, Molloy, Malone Dies and The nameless, from the dialogue with some artistic productions from the modern period of art, as Proust or Virginia Woolf, who developed images and metaphors about the time, seeking thereby to establish the relationship between those images in the works analyzed and the philosophical considerations of Adorno about the work of modern art.
