Abstract

The demands of the consumers are constantly growing, as well as the concern for the environment. Given this changing scenario, industrial companies started to pay greater attention to environmental issues and decided to choose solutions such as the adoption of an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 standard. It is believed that the adoption of this model changes the organization's image, both internal and external. This possible change will be the focus of this project considering that most of the public related to the certified company may have a misconception about what being a green company really means. The objective of this study is to verify, through a survey research, the relation between the Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001 with the organizational image of industrial companies. This project aims to make a brief theoretical review about Environmental Management System, IS0 14001, Organizational Image and Marketing, Green Marketing and Greenwashing will be done. (AU)
