Abstract

With the crisis of Fordism and its structural basis, it took a large restructuring process that is enabling different paths to overcome its crisis. In countries that seek to overcome this model, there are differences in coping strategies, with the implementation of new principles that allow flexible configurations between the professional and the configuration of the model of industrial organization. In this new conformation, the legacies of the formation of Fordism leave the directions to combat stiffness, generating a specific combination of the territories ahead of the flexibility. Thus, we have what Leborgne and Lipietz (1990) called for flexibility and flexibility offensive defensive, different models of flexible configuration that follow different paths of Fordism in the territories. Given this situation, the purpose of this research is to understand the trajectory of configuration flexibility in Brazil, starting from the assumption that it approaches the theoretical and practical defensive flexibility, combining actions that point to this direction and that are possible grasp the relations between capital and labor between firms and the state actions that territorializam.
