Abstract

Currently, the favorable market for the consumption of natural products, complementary to the diet or with therapeutical effects, has been promoting and stimulating the bee pollen production in Brazil. However, being a recent product its do not presents the complete quality ratings. The pollen makes part of the basic diet of the colony, providing the necessary nutrients for larval growth, metamorphosis and adult development and its activities. Therefore, it is essential to know the quality of bee pollen produced in one determinate region, as strategies to feed swarms in the periods of production as in the food shortages. The goals of this work are to perform the pollinic survey of botanical species presents in bee pollen and carry out the analysis of protein content and amino acid composition throughout the year. The pollen will be collected weekly of five hives, standardized how much to the number of frames and brood, through the frontal collector of bee pollen. The bee pollen collected will be mixed, weighty in analytical balance, dehydrated in a forced air oven, cleaned and the acorns classified by granulometries less than 2.0mm and greater than 2.0mm. The samples are stored in steriles vials, which will be kept under refrigeration (7ºC) for accomplishment of palynological, protein and amino acids analysis. It will be also performed Correlation of Pearson for the variables analyzed. (AU)
