Abstract Concern about the scarcity of available natural resources, combined with increased demand for food has caused the demand for sustainable production patterns, where all the material produced is converted to assets. The wastewater produced in swine are characterized by high concentrations of organic matter and pathogens, this material can be treated by anaerobic processes where you get the cleaning material and energy recycling still. The process is influenced by several factors, one of the main, the quality of the substrate subjected to the process. Based on this objective with the execution of this work was to evaluate the co-digestion of pig manure with increased levels of oil disposal, using batch digesters in a first step towards the identification of toxic levels of oil and selection of lipolytic microorganisms and food digesters still semi-continuous in subsequent step for the inclusion of micro-organisms and enzymes lipase lipase activity. In both steps are evaluated: reduction of total solids (TS) and volatile (VS), chemical and biochemical demand of oxygen (COD and BOD), total and thermotolerant coliforms, and of production and potential production of biogas and methane and characterization chemistry of biofertilizers. | |
