Abstract The aim of this study is the acquisition of experimental and theoretical tools to work in {\am Neuroscience}.To accomplish this, the student shall:1- Study: Information Theory, Stochastic Processes, Matlab/Scilab programming.2- Learn the experimental techniques used in our lab {\am DipteraLab} to record extracellularly from Lobula Plate neurons.3- Join his adviser in the project aiming at a real-time reconstruction of the stimulus seen by the fly from the H1-spike-train. 4- Perform and analyze his own experiments.(AU) | |
