Abstract

This project explores the dynamics of ecological communities in which interactions between different species affect, and are affected by, the internal variation of individual traits in each population. The proposal is to study the mathematical framework of this kind of system, where biological evolution may play a role in dynamics occurringin ecological time, and build upon it to deepen our understanding of how species interactions and trait dynamics can influence ecological communitystructure.
