Abstract

The reflection that is intended to be elaborated aims the analysis of the phenomenon of ideology in a politic perspective from the thought of Claude Lefort. In order to understand the emergence, the functions and the historical transformations of the ideology; the analysis will have a broader political understanding that is capable to capture the movements of ideology while historically offered answers to what constitutes the nature of political experience, that is, the division while being of the social. Moreover, it will be inquired, under Pierre Bourdieu' analysis, how the functions of symbolic domination and social reproduction practiced by the educational institution might be understood with a different scope if displaced in a politic plan of investigation. To emphasize this political dimension in its relationship with the being of the social and the cultural sphere is thus the larger aim of the project that is now before you. (AU)
