Abstract

The Treplica library uses replication to solve the problem of distributed applications reliability. Treplica simplifies the development of highly available applications by making transparent to the programmer the complexity of dealing with data replication and persistence. Simplicity in application development is a property hard to measure and to validate. As such, there is a clear need to validate Treplica in many application domains. This undergraduate research aims to contribute to the validation of the programming interface proposed by Treplica. Specifically, we are going to port the Bossa workflow engine to Treplica, allowing its replicated operation.(AU)
