Abstract

Calabi-Yau and G2 manifolds are the main objects of study in higher dimensional gauge theory. These manifolds have a rich geometric structure, and topics like mirror symmetry and the topological structure of moduli spaces constitute active areas of research. The goal of this project is to introduce the student to this area of research, together with its main applications. (AU)
