Abstract

This research project has the objective to identify theoretical constructsin Thomas Popkewitz's approach to curriculum as the history of the present that can support the construction of a theoretical approach to the analysis of the pedagogical coordination practices in São Paulo's public State schools. Those practices are the object of study of the ongoing doctoral research under the title "Coordination of pedagogical work at public school: limitations, potentialities and challenges to its concretization". The present research project will be carried out during the internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in the Departmentof Curriculum and Instruction, under the supervision of Professor Thomas Popkewitz.
