Abstract

The topic of synthesis of arts is a fundamental chapter of modern architecture, and is one of the main discussions covered by the research that this project is related, “Art and Architecture - the case of Athos Bulcão”. The relationship between art and architecture in the modern period translates into Brazilian influences and dialogues with this item on the topics of the European avant-garde, especially but not exclusively, from two of its protagonists, Le Corbusier, and Fernand Léger. This project aims to deepen the studies and research documents on the synthesis of arts, the professionals and the theoretical works. (AU)
