Abstract

After the restructuring of the labor occurred about the 90s, new forms of productive organization emerged impacting directly on existing formal jobs, turning them into the form of outsourcing, subcontracting, and part-time jobs, for example. So many people found themselves in the difficult condition of reintegration into the formal labor market, because they lack the attributes required for qualification. Among these individuals are those, which have characteristics socially derogatory, such as homosexual orientation people. For suffering prejudice and glimpse best rights, this group was organized in the form of a social movement and has significant climbing achievements. However, homophobic actions are witnessed, including in the organizational environment, where there are a number of policies for the welfare of minorities like the blacks, the elderly, physical-intellectual disabled, but none for the homosexual social minority. The aim of this work is to understand how the issue of sexual diversity is treated in every day of midsize businesses in the state of São Paulo, focusing on the perception of workers, managers, and representatives of LGBT movements (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender). We will adopt a qualitative methodology. We will use as tools for data collection: semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. The data collected will be analyzed using the content analysis method.(AU)
