Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study will be analyses the influence of different design of Metal free Fixed Partial Denture on the fracture resistance by two methods, tridimensional finite element analysis and in vitro test. Methods: 21 models will be designed in software CAD, Rhynoceros 4.0. The variables applied will be: connector, ceramic, width of cement and restoration technique. Three technique of veneering will be drawn, Rapid Layer, IPS emax CAD-on and conventional feldspatic ceramic. The designed suggested by the manufacturing and same variations of the connector will be analyzed and which showed the best mechanical behavior will be tested in practical set up in vitro. To the in vitro test seven groups will be tested: ZFC: zirconium copping and conventional techinical using VM7 handling application; ZDC: zirconium copping and conventional technical using IPS e.max press; ZFRF: Rapid Layer following manufacturing instructions; ZDIF: IPS e.max CAD-on following manufacturing instructions, ZFRVR: Rapid Layer + feldspatic + better connector from FEA + cemented with Unicem; ZFRVP: Rapid Layer + feldspatic + better connector from FEA + cemented with Panavia F e ZDIV: IPS e.max CAD-on + better connector from FEA. All groups will be cycled (1,200,000) and storage in distilled water at 37°C for 24 hours. The samples will be tested on universal machine at 0.5mm/min of cross-head until the fracture. Results: after testing the data should be analyzed and the better test will be used for testing the hypothesis and the analysis and classification bonding interface it will used Scanning Electronic Microscope.
