Abstract

We intend to perform a foucauldian problematization of public policies for children and adolescents in Brazil, analyzing documents and literature about the subject. We will collect available official documents about public policies for children and adolescents on the websites of the Social Development Ministry (MDS), the National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CONANDA) and other institutions focused on the subject. We will also conduct a review of banks of dissertations and theses from some Brazilian universities. We want to appropriate Foucault's genealogical method, deepening our studies about this author. With this theoretical-technique tool, we will study the official discourse that permeates the proposals of public policies for children and adolescents in the country, looking to detect the intersections between knowledge, power, and production of subjectivity in this particular field. We will investigate the political, pedagogical, psychological, ethical, and social assumptions, which constitute this discourse and the institutions and social practices that they actually wish to shape in the Brazilian social reality. We want to map the subjectivity production in the public policy field for children and adolescents in Brazilian topicality.(AU)
