The effect of hormesis in plants grown has been the subject of numerous scientific papers, in general the results show increases in vegetative components, such as dry mass of shoots and roots. However, little is known about their influence on yield, nutrient uptake and its relation to soil water availability. Thus, we proposed to study the use ofreduced rates of glyphosate, nitrogen topdressing and two water conditions in the bean crop. The study will be developed at the experimental farm of the Research Educationand Extension, Faculty of Engineering of Single Island - UNESP, in clayey oxisol. The experimental design is the randomized blocks, arranged in a factorial 3 x 4 x 2 and treatments will be constituted by the combination of three doses of glyphosate (0, 10 and 15 g ai ha-1), four doses of nitrogen in covering (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg ha-1) andtwo water (L1: the crop coefficient (KC1) + precipitation; L2: KC2 + precipitation) with four replications. Will be evaluated: initial and final population of plants, full flowering, dry matter of plants, leaf N content, leaf chlorophyll content, number of pods per plant, number of grains per plant, weight of hundred grains; productivity and cycle.
