Currently, Sorocaba meets in its industrial, important branches of production, such as metallurgy and precision mechanics, besides presenting a growth of the tertiary sector in recent years. This project will seek to understand the social dynamics, institutional and productive behind the recent economic growth of Sorocaba and establishing its technology as the following key concepts: productive restructuring, local development, high tech industry, external economies and governance territory.(AU)
