Abstract

Brazil is considered a country with great weather conditions for the development of goat breeding, especially in the Northeast. Pathologies such as Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis are important due to the damage they cause for the producer since the infection is usually asymptomatic and persistent, causing multisystemic evolution usually chronic, progressively worsening lesions, weight loss, and weakness to death. Knowing that the virus is eliminated by milk, the project in question aims to study the pattern of virus shedding in the milk of infected animals.(AU)
