Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop a critical study of Rilke Shake (2006), written by Angélica Freitas. The name of the work already suggests an element that will be observed throughout the study proposed here, since it seems has a fundamental role in the design of the book in question, namely, the (de)construction of tradition through laugh and through the development of inherited traces of the canon in an active way. Mixed with that, an accurate and poetic sense of contemporaneity traits. To develop this study will be important the reading of theoretical references that are linked to the study of the poetic text and the poet's relationship with tradition in contemporary, as Agamben (2006), Baudelaire (1991), Borges (1980), Campos (1969); Siscar (2011 ); Schøllhamer (2009). To develop the study on laughter, will be important contributions of Bakhtin (1998); Brait (1996) and Propp (1976). Such references favor the theoretical understanding and analysis proposed here, but we think it is still necessary to show that the position of poet fits on a broader project, generally manifest throughout contemporary literature and not only the Brazilian one. In this sense, we believe it will be productive, after analyzes, to consider the work in question in light of the Seis propostas para o próximo milênio, by Italo Calvino (1988). Here, we'll raise the hypothesis that it is possible to assign the work of Freitas to the proposals of lightness and multiplicity. Therefore, the critical study proposed here takes into account not only the analysis of the poems but also seeks to ascertain whether it is viable or not to associate them to the precepts espoused by Calvin, which allows further expand the understanding of the work. We hope to contribute to the critical fortune of a poet who has shown the importance among the authors that have arisen in recent years in the national literary scene.(AU)
