Abstract

This research proposal continues the study of the haroldian work, already performed on the doctoral thesis and several critical studies, published between 2008 and 2011, and aims, with the apparatus of French semiotics and literary references of the studies on Brazilian literature, evaluate the poetic project of Haroldo de Campos, from the way it defines its relation to history and the literary canon. The binding of Concrete proposals for incorporation in the texts of the tradition is widely studied, on the other hand, the work of the poet glimpsed also a relationship with the canon that seems to distance himself from the collective discourse of the vanguard to approaching a poetic project of personal utopia, focused on the desire to establish a "Brazilian Literature History of Invention" and, extensively, for the construction of an authorial identity that was rooted in a specific view of our literature, always in a position located in dialogic relation to literature. Given this possibility of reading the work of the poet, it is necessary to determine what is the sense of history to guide the choices that the poet makes the canon and argues, in tensives terms, intensely and / or length, the dialectic between tradition and the rupture of his time in his career. It is intended to assess, therefore, based on parameters provided by the work of the poet and the apparatus of the above mentioned theoretical contributions, how these changes are articulated in Campos poetic project and to what extent one could say that this would set a double articulation utopian movement, ie, an avant-garde utopia book and another Faustian, staff, focused on the construction of an authorial identity influences the management of the precursors. For this, you will need to assess which authors join the work of the poet and the reasons why the entry is given a few more striking than the other. (AU)
