Abstract

This project aims to evaluate the use of additive-multiplicative hazard model, which incorporates time-dependent covariate effect. Therefore, we intend to deepen the knowledge about the models, including estimation methods, asymptotic properties, diagnostic analysis and, from this, we aim to investigate ways of classifying covariates into additive or multiplicative structure, as well as understand the differences between the two models in order to find methods that can be used to choose the most appropriate one in a practical situation.
