Abstract

Evolution of Southern Hemisphere water masses will be investigated through the analyses of paleoproxy data and the results for the past Millenium from the Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace (IPSL) and National Center for Atmospheric Research Climate System Model (NCAR-CCSM) paleoclimatemodel transient simulations. The role of the sub-surface ocean on climate change and variability for the region will be examined. (AU)
