Abstract

The geomorphological mapping detail provides subsidies for a detailed analysis of all the elements that make up the relief, are those derived from natural or anthropic action Thus, the stage has prompted the main objective knowledge, compare and apply the methodology of construction of geomorphological mapping used by the Center for the Study of Geography and Spatial Planning (CEGOT), University of Coimbra, with the proposed adapted from Tricart, technical used in PhD research titled "Study of the effects of anthropogenic creation of morphologies in the mining area" (FAPESP Process n. 2011/01688-0). The geomorphological mapping technique used by CEGOT have been very successful in disseminating their results in reputable journals. So the field of application of this technique geomorphological mapping will expand the knowledge of scholarship on the topic, bringing you a great gain academic. During the stage, there will be a case study in Anços river basin, located in central Portugal and has a quite area impacted by the exploitation of limestone. Geomorphological mapping detail, scale 1:25,000, one dated 1958 and the other from the 2000s, will be performed by the two techniques above geomorphological mapping As a result, it is expected to perform a comparative analysis of these techniques and geomorphological mapping to evaluate the potential of these parameters in obtaining geoindicators allusive forms, materials and geomorphological processes, identified by quantifying data. This comparative analysis will produce a publication that will be guided through the presentation of the case study. (AU)
