Abstract

The aim of this research is an ethnography about Tenharim, Tupi-Kagwahiva group living in south Amazonas state, focusing on the relationship of this group with otherness. For the realization of this proposal will consider the main party Tenharim, the Mboatawa, taking it as a privileged point for understanding this performative constitution process of identity and difference. The Mboatawa occurs anually during the dry season, following the agricultural calendar of Tenharim. Besides of fildwork will be a study of historical documentation ethnographies amazon related to the theme of ritual.
