This project proposes research methods and computational algorithms for color correction on a set of multiple images of an object captured in a system for 3D reconstruction of electronic holography. The image capture system to be used is the system of three hundred cameras at NICT - National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, Japan. The purpose of correction is to harmonize the color differences between the images of these multiple cameras system, because even between adjacent cameras the colors of the same object may be slightly different in their pictures, which brings problems in three-dimensional reconstruction of the object. In color correction, image should be adjusted so that its colors match those of a reference image. It is planned to use two types of correction. The first technique uses a base-color pattern and the second approach modificafies the histograms of the images. The goal of the research is to obtain a nonlinear mathematical transformation on the pixels of the images in which the result becomes the new colors as close as possible the ideal colors, leading to a correct reconstruction of the holographic object.
