Abstract

In democratic participatory management partnership school and family is fundamental, but it constitutes a major challenge for management education. We believe it is necessary to choose dialogue as the preferred way to establish a relationship Family / school without imposing the culture of the school, assuming that it is not to teach the parents a certain way of being and acting, but to talk with them, an attitude of mutual aid, based on the idea of partnership. This project aims to investigate how the Educational Management can involve parents in the educational work of the school in order to improve the quality of education. To achieve this goal we intend to develop a qualitative research, as it provides the researcher to rethink their theories and review their certainties, with the intention of assisting in the transformation of social reality of public schools. We use as instruments: bibliographic study, document analysis, interviews and observation of activities that involve parents of students from two public schools located in Presidente Prudente, SP.
