Abstract

Some open problems in the theory of associative, alternative and Jordan algebras and their subalgebras of invariants will be considered.The main aim of the project is to find possible connections between properties of these algebras and the properties of their subalgebrasof invariants relative a finite group of automorpisms. In particular, we want to generalize the Bergman-Isaacs theorem to the case of a finite group of Jordan automorphisms.
