Abstract

The processes of mineral exploration are an example of accumulation by dispossession that occurred in fragile states and dependent economically, socially, and institutionally. This process determines the territorial logic, collective ownership of land, and social organization of labor, these reflections are strongly experienced in African countries, particularly in Mozambique empirical basis of this research. The imprint of this research is to study these actions and geopolitical processes between the Mozambican and Brazilian states through company Vale SA and its coal mine in Moatize. (AU)
