Abstract

It concerns thinking the concept of object a as a necessary result of the impasse placed inside lacanian metapsychology by the tense relation between the appropriation of the hegelian dialetics of desire and the sociolinguistics determination proceeded from levistraussian structuralism. First formalized in 1958, the object a results on the manner in which the psychoanalyst thought the required resistance of the subject to the pure negativity of desire, when it comes to the possibility of seeing itself suppressed by the structure determination via significant. As from, the concept is developed in so as to characterize itself as the key theme in the lacanian twist, achieved between the 50's and 60's, towards the primacy of the register of the Real and a divergent manner to conceive subjectivation, based on the body.
