Abstract

In this research, we intend to analyze, using the method of Institutional Analysis of discourse (Guirado, 2010), Freud's writings in order to delimit which place is occupied by the concept of unconscious in his clinic. By hypothesis and previous analyzes (Guirado, Martins-Afonso & Guirado, 2012) we assume that the intersection between this concept and the practice is done by two analytical procedures: the interpretation and the construction. Thus, it is intended to point to the (in)determinations, in terms of relations established between patient and analyst, between the psychoanalytic method and, more specifically, the concept of the unconscious.
