Abstract

The undergraduate research project has as focus vertical public facilities, in order to compare project reflections with works already carried out, the various solutions for school programs. The basis for speculation are established in the lease of the building project E " the E " downtown Sao Paulo region where the number of empty land is small, justifying, therefore, consideration of the curriculum under a vertical building. The site was chosen by the proposal of the Centre as a restoration process of the region as a tourist attraction and that the number of schools located in the District of the Cathedral to be insufficient for the demand required there. The process relies on a survey of schools projects not yet implemented but documented in books and magazines, and works already completed, including visits to the field with pictures and possible record interviews with users. The completion will be done by drawing up a program for a school and a pilot project. As a result, it is expected to reach a standard suitable for program the difficulty imposed on the project, a vertical school located in a neighborhood of large commercial, social and political importance.
