Abstract

This work has the objective of studying the titanium properties at high temperatures. Tensile tests at high temperatures will be made, varying temperatures and strain rate, and after will be done the factor analysis of the data, beyond of the tensile test with variable strain rates. At the end, it will be made a relation between data found with the literature and with the real use in aeronautical turbines. With this, it is expected to occur the development of a better comprehension about some real uses of this material. (AU)
