Abstract

The proposed study aims to continue a long-term study on the macrophytes effects in a fishing farm system. Inadequate management in the aquaculture fishpond may lead to an aggressive infestation of macrophytes and it is essential to estimate the recovering time to establish appropriate biotic and abiotic conditions to the environment to be able to receive fish again in an acceptable way. Counting and identification of the planktonic communities in fishpond will be realized after infestations by macrophytes, indicating the local environment condition. Results will be an important tool to be applied in correct practices of management, avoiding any negative effects of macrophytes and any other harm caused by macrophytes infestations in fish farms.
