Abstract

Researchers sought to understand the relationship between psychoanalysis and education, some pointed to the impossibilities of this meeting, other possible paths, however narrow. The purpose of this study is to investigate this relationship, outlining specifically on the issue of the constitution of morality in Freud, considered one of the most paradoxical aspects of his work, in order to address this issue in-depth and to investigate whether there was in the scope of psychoanalytic theory a role of Education should be considered accordingly. Thus, it has been aimed at understanding, based on the work of Freud and his current scholars, how is the constitution of morality, and how education is thought to contemplate this aspect, seeking to reflect on its limits and possible contributions. Will be bibliographical research, with textual analysis, investigation, survey, selection, and analysis of those works of Freud, as well as dissertations, theses and articles from current scholars of Freudian Psychoanalysis, addressing the establishment of morality, its consequences, and its relationships with education.
