Abstract

The importance of conducting an evaluation process is associated with the need to analyze the quality level, aiming the accountability and the capacity to generate information aiding the decision making for achieving improvements. Research with alumni are gaining importance due to its potential to contribute to results evaluation, because they allow to evaluate the compatibility between the acquired knowledge, developed competencies with the required skills to work. The evaluation of alumni differs from the view of the student because, through experience, it gathers conditions to analyze objectively and to contrast with the reality of work. In this sense, it has the following research question: What indicators can support the assessment of alumni as a tool for improvement of Stricto Sensu post-graduate programs? To answer the question, a study of qualitative and quantitative approaches will be conducted, in which is proposed a set of indicators for the assessment of alumni through an theoretical and empirical analysis. The results will subsidize the completion of the empirical study with doctoral graduates in a Doctoral Program in Administration.
