Abstract

Social media services such as Facebook, Flickr and Google+ allow users to share images and to connect to each other. This generates a large volume of images with social network context data, presenting a great opportunity to image mining. The objective of this internship project is to develop scalable graph analysis algorithms to find useful information from social networks of social media services to mine image data. The internship project will be hosted at the Carnegie Mellon University and supervised by Prof. Christos Faloutsos. (AU)
