Abstract

This study uses 30 copies fetal bovine zebu-crossed male and female different gestational period to study the topography and venous vasculature of the thymus. Will be held the opening of the abdominal cavity in order to identify the caudal vena cava, where it will be injected substance latex stained with specific pigment. It will then be injected into all the muscle and parenchymal organs of the thoracic cavity formaldehyde aqueous solution of 10% to fixation. Left lateral position, opens the chest cavity and dissect it will be the thymus along with their venous vessels. Concomitantly, the cervical ventrolateral opens to expose the cervical thymus and its venous vessels. The study of venous thymus provide knowledge about thymic veins in cattle, cellular immunity performed by this gland, and also opens avenues for further studies in different species. (AU)
