Abstract

Due to preoccupation with air pollution, making the monitoring of particulates in the air is important because they are associated with respiratory problems and the esthetics of the environment. However, the weather variables can influence the dispersion of pollutants, which can improve air quality. It is known that one of the sources may contribute to increased pollution is the emission carrier. With the chemical can check which key source in Limeira - SP. The monitoring of the concentration of PM2,5 will be make with the device Partisol 2025i Sequential Sampler, using Teflon filters. For particles PM10 and TSP will use the equipment for High Volume Samplers (MP10 Hi-Vol - PTS Hi-Vol), which are installed at the meteorological station of the Faculty of Technology - UNICAMP. The collections are made every six days in a 24 hour period with glass fiber filters by the gravimetric technique. Data from the meteorological variables (rain, wind speed, temperature and humidity) are obtained from the same weather station. Through a mathematical software will be able to verify the degree of influence of meteorological variables with particulates. Inorganic chemical analysis will be performed on the filters sampled.
