Abstract

Note the importance of the studies related to the etiology of endometritis since this disease constitutes a remarkable obstacle to the production of animal products. This study aims to evaluate the bacterial etiology of bovine endometritis. For that will be used in this study 150 dairy cows of Holstein dairy farms from the states of São Paulo. The assessment starts with the inspection of animals observing changes in the constitution, habit, attitude, and nutrition conditions. The animals will undergo reviews: gynecological ultrasonography and microbiology. This study supports the institution of preventive and therapeutic strategies to be taken to maintain herd health and reduction of losses related to this disease. (AU)
