Abstract

Investigating an masculine and feminine habitus, dominant and dominated, intrinsic components, instilled in a shared unconscient "universal" to "all" the individuals and evident on Kabyle society of his ethnographies, Pierre Bourdieu write in 1998 his (controversial) work Masculine domination. Work highly criticized by feminist theorists, it caused a certain unconfort by the highly critical analysis of feminism itself, as a theorical-political movement. Through a stroll on the referred work and the concepts precious to the Boudieusian theory, we, also, aim to comprehend how this work - as we observe its place on the so-called feminist studies field - allow us to perform a theoretical exercise of the French autor's reflexion on the concept of scientific field.
